Prospective Parents and Students,
Thank you for your interest in Guajome Schools! We are a tuition-free, public charter school for students in grades K-12. We are open to all students. Our schools are designed to meet the needs of a variety of learners. K-12 Enrollment
Enrollment procedures are in place in order to fulfill our mission, maintain quality instruction, and provide sufficient tools for student success.
Admission to GPA & GPPA is open to California students who wish to enroll, subject to capacity. Applications will be accepted for the 2023-24 school year starting September 1, 2022 through March 17, 2023 at 3:00 p.m. In the event that the number of applicants to GPA exceeds the number of available openings, a random lottery will be held.
Applications submitted after March 17, 2023 will be placed on a waiting list.
The lottery for the 2023-24 school year will be held on April 5, 2023 at 9:00 a.m. and will be live-streamed. This is a double-blind lottery and student names are not released during the lottery.
*Families will receive an email notification with the lottery results within 1-2 days after the lottery.
Enrollment preference during the registration or re-enrollment process shall be in the following order:
- Currently enrolled students
- Students of GPA employees
- Siblings of students presently enrolled
- Siblings or children of alumni of the Charter School
- Students residing within the attendance boundaries of Vista Unified School District
- All other interested students
If students with enrollment priority do not adhere to designated registration/ re-enrollment protocol and/or procedures timelines, the enrollment priority will be forfeited.

The waitlist is full for the 2022/2023 school year and applications are no longer being accepted.
New student applications for the 2023/2024 school year can be submitted online using the links below. Applications are also available in the front office. Please review the application deadlines and enrollment procedures in the section above.
Virtual Lottery
Guajome Park Academy's admissions lottery for the 2023/24 school year will be held virtually via Zoom on April 5th at 9:00 a.m.
This is a double-blind lottery and no student names will be displayed. Parents will receive an email with the lottery results no later than Friday, April 7th.

Campus Tour
Prospective students and families have the opportunity to take a campus tour before the admissions lottery. The campus tour is scheduled for January 19, 2023, between 5:00 - 6:15 p.m. All families and students are welcome and appointments are not needed.
